Let's start by saying sorry...
In our family we say sorry if we did something wrong. And nothing is more wrong than being absent at the table. So we are here to set the table again!
But let's start with a quick recap. Sooo many things have happened...and let's face it, not only for us but for the whole world. You left us where we were living in UAE, with a dog named Tony. We are now in a transition phase living in Greece because of the Covid restrictions, Tony is still with us of course, but we now have two children! A boy named Barkon Ektoras ( Μπαρκόν Έκτορας) and a girl named Taitou Daeira (Ταἵτοὐ Δάειρα). Kids are almost six, and although this in no way justifies our absence, it makes us feel a tiny bit of comfort that we had a very good "excuse" for our absence.
We are now riding the pandemic in Greece and moving back to UAE again when conditions permit it.
So this was our short recap and summer is officially here in Greece and that makes the whole craziness of the pandemic a lot more bearable. Let's set the table people and welcome you to our home again with a summer dish with a twist.
Fresh peas (that I found in the farmers' market here) with feta whipped cream! Definitely in season and so wonderfully matched with fresh dill.
Thank you for remaining loyal to us all this time despite our absence. We appreciate it a lot and we promise to keep this place fun and tasty!
Kostas, Dia, Ektoras, Daeira and Tony!
