Turmeric Orzo Salad
Let's start! In a saucepan add a lot of water (like you would cook pasta) and the star anise and bring to a boil. Add the orzo, reduce heat to medium, cover and boil for 5-7 minutes. Drain and place in a bowl and allow it to cool. Put it in the fridge for about an hour to remain cold.
When the orzo is nice and cold start cutting all the veggies. Cut everything in small cubes except the herbs. Place all the veggies in a bowl. Chop the herbs and add them to the bowl. Mix the veggies and herbs with the orzo and set it aside. Make the vinaigrette by combining the balsamic, lemon, honey, mustard, olive oil, salt, and vinegar and blending them well.
Add the vinaigrette to the orzo mix and with a spoon fold well. Place a wrap on top and put the salad in the fridge for at least an hour to soak up all the dressing. Remove form the fridge and serve cold!
