Easter Cookies
Let's start!
Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
Sift the flour and baking powder in a bowl and set aside.
With mixer beat the butter and sugar until they are fluffy and white. Slowly add the eggs while beating in medium power. Put the orange juice in a glass and add the ammonia. It will become foamy so quickly add the it to the mixture while beating with the mixer. Don't worry if it looks like the mixture has clumps. It's normal. Add the vanilla and mix. Add the yogurt and continue beating with the mixer.
Put the mixer on low power and slowly add the flour and baking powder, while beating. After you have added all the flour mixture you will have a dough that is soft but not sticky to the hands. Move the dough to a clean surface and knit a little more with your hands.
Time to give shape! Take approximately 25g of the dough and make a string around 20cm long. Curl the top and bottom on opposite sides creating an s-shape. Place it on a greased tray. Do the same with the rest of the dough and place them about 5cm apart because they will rise and spread. Brush them with the egg yolk and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let them cool completely so the you don't get the ammonia smell while you eat them!
