Let's get started!
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
With a mixer beat the butter with the sugar in high speed until they become white and fluffy. Add the eggs one by one while beating in medium speed for 2 minutes more. Add all the other ingredients except the walnuts. In a food processor grind the walnuts roughly. You want to feel the walnuts when you bite the cupcake. Add the walnuts and with a spatula mix so they are well combined. Scoop the mixture into cupcake molds and put them in the oven. Bake them for 25 - 30 minutes.
While the cupcakes are baking make the syrup. In a small pot put the water, sugar and lemon drops and bring to a boil on high heat. Once the water boils, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. When ready remove from the heat and leave to cool down.
To do the frosting mix the condensed milk with the yogurt and put the mixture in the fridge. It needs to be cold before you decorate the cupcake.
Once the cupcakes are out form the oven you need to add the syrup while they are hot. With a table spoon take some of the syrup and slowly wet the surface of the cupcake. You will need around 2 - 3 tablespoons of syrup for each cupcake. You don't need to soak them. Let them cool down and put them in the fridge to become cold. Add the frosting once they are completely cold.
Serve cold from the fridge. Enjoy!
